Anyone have experience with Signature or Sheila's Perfume?

These are two roses I picked up yesterday during Armstrong's 30% off sale. I'm not familiar with either, but couldn't resist the sale. Is anyone growing either, or know about them?

'Signature' is an exhibitor's favorite, perfect form with thick substance that holds and holds well. Mine gets moderate rust late in the season, no mildew, mine defoliated from black spot this year (we had a late-rain season). Great production, good vigor, not overly prickly. Best color with late afternoon shade--doesn't fade, but can get splotchy. Fairly vertical growth, 5-6' tall, 4-5' wide. Absolutely zero fragrance.

I grew Sheila's Perfume as a rooted cutting from an early import before it was commercially available here. I found the rose to be a horse! VERY vigorous, extremely willing to flower and no disease issues I can remember, but that was in a fairly arid, hot garden. After a few seasons, the crown of the plant was VERY large and it topped out above my head every year (I'm 5'8"). It was very prickly, very densely foliated, quite fragrant and completely pleasing in every way expected, except its reluctance to be used in raising new seedlings. Kim

I have a young Sheila and she is lovely. The bloom is gorgeous from bud to blown. Vigorous, generous bloomer, pretty new growth. Yes, very prickly with dark prickles. I agree with Kim it is pleasing in every way.

Sheila's Perfume, though classed as a floribunda, has large fragrant blooms with HT form. It has the normal high susceptibility to blackspot disease.

Thank you so much for your feedback. I'm glad I asked as the first two spots I scoped out were not appropriate for their sizes. Now I have them in two spots perfect for roses that sound like they'll get rather large.

Very excited about both. Thanks again.

Sheila has been one of my most health roses this year. Beautiful deep green and glossy foliage. I wish I had a more recent photo as she has tripled in size for me since receiving her as spring band.
