Didn't find anything in search but others must have asked for best varieties and sources for hybrid teas for Sarasota.

RE: Best rose varieties

Hybrid Tea's?? Easy sources. Coolroses in Palm Beach, K&M Nursery, Nelson Florida Roses. All 3 have web sites. As far as varieties, I could go wild. What are you wanting from your HT's?? I grew a LOT of HT's in SE & central FL from 1975 till I moved up to N.GA in late 2008 (still growing a good bunch up here). Just a few to wet your whistle, (red) Uncle Joe, Kentucky Derby, (pink) Brides Dream, Belinda's Dream (classed as a shrub but grows and blooms like a HT), (yellow) St Patrick, Elina, (orange) Fragrant Cloud, Folk Lore, (white) Crystalline, White Success, (blends) Louise Estes, Moonstone, Gold Medal, Gemini, Mavrik. These are just a few that grow great in FL. Have fun looking these up on HMF.
