| Finally made contact with Jim and he suggested for my area (which is just about 20 miles south of Jim) Crystalline and Pope John Paul roses. White and form with Crystalline. Just have to learn about these by growing them. Pembroke |

I grow both Crystalline and two Pope John Paul II roses. Crystalline is very nice, grows tall and vigorously, and produces exhibition type roses by the bucketful. Pope John Paul II is my favorite white HT. The bush is vigorous and healthy with dark green leaves with heavy substance to them. The blooms are ice white with lots of petals making them very pretty with good form for the most part. And the fragrance is lemony and sweet and to die for. I am going to try it a little bit breeding next year testing it's pollen on a known hip setter and using other pollen to see if it will set hips. You won't go wrong with these two roses at all. Another good white rose though it is a floribunda is Moondance from J&P. The bush is strong and clean and the blooms have good fragrant exhibition form and blooms mostly in singles with a few small sprays thrown in for good measure. It is the best white floribunda I have grown. Just my two cents worth. John |
