Look a lot like Neil Diamond, only Daring Spirit looks darker. Neil Diamond is more pink, and will be sold by Edmunds this spring.

I wonder who's the parents? I visited your link and saw Pure Posh, a fragrant lavender. It looks interesting, too.

J&P suddenly shut down their breeding program almost 4 years ago. What's coming forward now are the last dregs in their seedlings. They don't bother to test these roses anywhere before marketing them. I hear there was so much confusion in the labeling of the seedlings that they don't really know the parents. Very sad to see the once mighty J&P in this shape.

Well, I went ahead and ordered it along with a replacement SIGNATURE. J&P had a special.. FREE shipping on orders of $50 or more that ends tonight. So I couldn't pass it up. Glad I didn't go ahead and place the order last week. We'll see what it looks like in the coming season. Can't wait!

Amanda, I wish I could say that isn't true. But I am afraid it IS true. So sad.

I have this one along with Hypnotized and Neil Diamond on order for the spring. Can't wait for some new striped roses, they are always such a surprise with every bloom! I can't find either Hypnotized or Daring Spirit on hmf just yet but I loved your shot of Neil Diamond!!
