Is 2000 the latest published Vintage Big Catalog, please? Thanks. Kim

Never mind, thank you. I answered my own question. 2006 is the latest. Kim

Kim, do you know approximately how often they do a new one? It is such an excellent & interesting resource, I was preparing to order a new one, but if the latest is 2006, perhaps they're planning another soon. Guess I'll call first.

I seriously doubt a new edition is planned. Creating and printing that kind of catalog is a very expensive and time consuming proposition. How many months are there before Vintage's planned closure? By all means call, but if you want the book as a reference, grab it now! What I find very valuable is it gives the provenance of every rose they offer. Kim

Thanks, Kim. Oh yeah, gonna order tomorrow. I really respect Vintage's effort & my old one is a ragged mess. "Catalog" doesn't do the thing justice--it's a "Modern Roses" abstract.

You're welcome bluegirl. And, you're absolutely right. It IS a fine piece of reference material. How many "rose books" have been written by people who have as much literal hands-on experience with every rose they contain? Gregg has given us a great collection of information. Well worth the price! Kim

To the best of my knowledge the planned closure is off the table at the moment. With our support Vintage could live on.
