One of my better ones as the PNW seems to bring out Austin's weakness for BS and I don't spray. I plant her is morning sun only and the colour stays richer longer. If well fed she grows to about 6 feet but also tends to arch over with the weight of the blooms. Good fragrance and no BS.

Beautiful rose. My Austins are all quite new and I didn't get much in the way of disease. Margaret Merrill and the Faun were the black spotted ones for me last year. I sprayed a little neem oil on everything last year. One of my baby apple trees had a terrible fungus all summer and didn't bear any fruit even though it flowered well.

Crown princess margareta makes my heart skip a beat! She is definitely going in my garden soon.

A very lovely rose and one that seems to usually be mentioned as being healthy. I wish I had room for a few of the newest Austins to see if they are indeed more disease-resistant in my garden than some of the older productions. Ingrid
