Anybody care to teach me to post photos from Photobucket?

I used to post photos regularly from my photobucket account, but forget the rubrics with to do it. Can anyone refresh my memory? I'd like to start posting garden photos again.

Thanks
Jerome

I can try! If you already know how to upload your pictures to Photobucket then I'll skip to how to get them on here...
you should see under the photo you want to post options like email, direct link, html code, html thumb, ect. You want to choose html code by clicking and then right clicking to copy it...then just paste the code in the message section. That's it. Now I think you can adjust the size of the pictures but that I would have to mess around with to remember how to do it. At least you can get them up though I hope! ~Meghan

If you want to post photos directly into your message you need to put some HTML tags around the links that Photobucket gives you.

Copy the HTML code (as momof2 suggests) and add this to the beginning of the code:

type this character <
put this next: (no space) url
and then type the opposite character >

at the end of the HTML code
type this character <
put this next: /url
type this last (no space): >

the reason I have to spell it out for you is that when you do it correctly it disappears.

Garden Web has a page just for people to practice posts like this. Or you can just keep doing "Preview" until it looks right. The photo should show up without having to click on a link once you get you code typed correctly.

Good luck.
