One of my favorites EVEN THOUGH I can't smell noisettes.
That's really saying something since I usually SP roses for lack of fragrance.

These were taken last week- she's actually blooming harder now. Almost 100% white with no leaves showing. Amazing.

With Maggie - neither have ever been pruned - Maggie needs it.

What an incredible rose, and Maggie is equally beautiful; they're great together. MW is just plain incredible in regard to size and bloom. The blush buds and faint pink blush of the rose are really attractive.

I love your monster roses! The size really makes them so dramatic.

MW is beautiful. Thanks for posting those pics.

Another question, if you don't mind. I noticed you grow Magenta and wondered how it does no spray for you and how you like it?

RE: Washington, Mary

My Magenta was still a little baby this spring and I killed it by fertilizing... That'll teach me not to drink beer while gardening!

lol, Carrie. I ordered one from Rogue Valley because of the color; I will try remember to stick to coffee when carrying around fertilizer. Thanks for the laugh.

Wow, their huge! Funny how you can't smell noisettes, they are about the only rose I CAN smell. :O)

Mary Washington is my token noisette. I do smell it, but the fragrance is not strong. I thought I would try this rose because it was supposed to be more cold-hardy and didn't turn into a monster climber. Once it got going, it hasn't been a disappointment.

Hmm... never been pruned. I think I'll stop pruning. They're both beautiful!
