| I'm a little excited that my Gruss an Aachen gave me the most beautiful first bloom! It has been in the ground less than 2 weeks and doing so well. Reines de Violette is just about ready to give blooms as well and I will pics of both of them in full bloom in about a week! :) I'm in love! (and looking for more room for more roses....)

| Reines has bloomed! :)
It smells so wonderful! Ingrid, I have 2 antiques and then an Easy Does It, Strike it Rich, 2 knock outs and a tea rose. First year they're all in the ground so it's taking longer for them to bloom but so much fun coming home each day and seeing what treat my garden has in store. :) |

| Thanks everyone! I can't believe how healthy they are as well. We really tried to do it right and brought in specialty dirt for our new stone planters and it seems to be doing the trick. :) One more and I promise to stop, ha!

| Blondegardener....you have been bitten by the rose bug. Any attempt to resist buying more roses will likely be futile. ;o) |

| This is exciting and I can relate. I'm about to get my first SDLM bloom. You have 2 roses I would like to have in the future. Keep us posted and do tell about the scent. I'll bet they smell heavenly. |
