Hybrid Musk rose, 'Nur Mahal'. Not one single thorn or even a prickle underneath the leaves has ever appeared on this silky smooth behemoth. I hope you can see all the unopened buds forming on it. Randy |

| I think I remember your really praising this rose some years ago, Randy, and commenting on the fact that it had no thorns. It does have a lot of buds, that's for sure. It's a very pretty rose. Ingrid |

Ingrid, yes, it pumps out the buds. Krista, definitely a bold color, lol. She kind of screams for attention, and she gets it. |

| I'm in love with Nur Mahal too, Randy! Mine is growing against the wall of my bedroom and I get to look out at her big, beautiful, fragrant blooms without having to even go outdoors. This is one spray of blooms this morning. My NM doesn't put out a big flush of blooms as much as some of the other roses here, but it has blooms on it at least 10 months of the year. |

| Hey, your spray of Nur Mahal looks great. You captured how its blooms can be slightly different shades on one spray as they age. Nice that you can see it from your bedroom. Randy |

| I don't visit the Antique Forum very often, but couldn't help but notice this thread. A Consulting Rosarian recommended this rose to me a few years ago. I love the pictures, it's gorgeous, My rose planting got put on hold for a few years because of other obligations, but I'm getting back into it this year and I think I am going to add this one to next year's list. |
