Blush Noisette with Nepta

Climbing Pinkie once more as she had more blooms in this picture so I couldn't resist showing her off again. Heavy winds flattened the carnations

Your Climbing Pinkie is gorgeous!!! What’s your secret?

Would you mind posting a close-up of Pinkie? I like the variation of bloom colors on the bush, from the new, darker pink to the older, light pink blooms.

Thank you!
Audrey- Right now we are having very heavy rains so I don't know what shape she will be in after it's over. I will check tomorrow and see what I can do. I do have this picture that has a close up so hopefully this will help you. As for a secret I don't have one. Ever since I planted her there she just grew by leaps and bounds throwing up huge canes. I just keep stringing her along the fence in both directions, the canes are very flexible. I feed all my roses black kow in spring and fall though haven't got around to it this year. I also give them a shot of Rose Tone too once a year. That's it. Now she does tend to get some bs but never really bad.

Glad I could enable! Looking at your post about the neighbors maybe you could hang a sign in front of this one that says earthkind as that is what ARE lists it as. :O) Anyway I hope you get it, I love her!~Meghan

Meghan, I'm still waiting for my Pinkie to look like yours. I think it has two blooms on it right now. But, I'm ever hopeful since it's still young. Yours and Blush Noisette are so beautiful and floriferous.

Meghan,

Thanks so much for posting a picture of Blush Noisette. My grandson just had to have it because it had a little bloom on it and I've been wondering how it was going to look.

Your's is a beauty.

How is the fragrance?

Betty- My pleasure, thank you. This is one of my favorites because of the fragrance. I try to grow roses that (from what I read anyway) are said to have strong fragrance. Unfortunately I can't smell most of them. This one however I can smell from a distance. Very strong to me and very nice. The one thing I don't care so much about with it is the fact the spent blooms tend to hang on her. I usually snip them off. On the upside to that she is always is bloom excellent repeat and strong grower for me but I am a little warmer then you so I don't know how it would be for you.

I like how the catmint is growing up through Blush Noisette. Nice combo!

Very pretty Meghan! Already beauties but you're in for a real treat was they get larger. My BN got damaged by the winds earlier this spring, was about 8 feet tall and covered with blooms, now it's much shorter. Cl. Pinkie is another favorite of mine. So healthy and carefree. Good rebloomer too.
