A Very fragrant Bourbon that I bought from Ashdowns several Years ago.

MARIE Boisselot is planted next to Catherin on an Obelisk and some years when it works the blooms and roses mix. It's not to be this year due to over zealous pruning. Catherine can be quite vigorus

Such beautiful pictures! That first one with a bee flying to the bloom is a gem. How is the rebloom for your CG?

Wow, an amazing rose and clematis, great combo.

I've always admired this rose; I gather it gets to be quite large. It's really one of the most exquisite Bourbons.

If left unpruned after it's first flush it can get to be about 6 to7 feet tall by 3 to 4 wide. It's not one of those long arching Bourbons. It doesn't have a great rebloom for me more in the way of Zephrine Drouhin sporadic repeat some years none. I know some folks who have had it get great repeat from it. It basically like Louise Odier as it's a seedling of Louise Odier but not as big .
