Sunny Garden Shots

We've had our first sunny day in about a week, so I headed outside to snap some garden shots. My back is completely covered in potted roses, the ones I'm taking with me....I'm moving to Columbus this weekend!

your roses are so gorgeous, I love the trailing sprawling effect.

What is the rose on the left on the structure?

what is the tall climbing rose here... Eden?

Hi Aimee,
The rose on the left is Zephirine Drouhin, her first flush is just winding down. The second rose is Sir John Mills.

WHAT????!!!!!????

You're going to leave all those beautiful roses? I see you have potted some roses, but, but the mature bushes are so lovely!

Whoever ends up buying your house will be very lucky!

Good luck with the move....can't wait to see what you'll do in your new garden. How exciting, moving to a new place!

Thanks a bunch! Hope you enjoy your new home/garden!

Thanks for the well wishes. I keep walking around the yard and saying "oooh, I wanna take that one too." I'll still have an opportunity to take some more with me after the big move.

The thought of moving those big mature bushes is too daunting :)

A few people who've already looked at the house have been scared off by the garden (they think it's too much work), so I'm really hoping for a gardener/rose lover!

My goodness, how could anyone not want your house because of your gorgeous garden? People are sooo strange. I'm sure that with all the experience you've gained with this garden your new one will in time be even more beautiful.

Huh? Oh no!

I hope your next garden can compete with this one. I have enjoyed it endlessly. Good luck with the move, and once the house sells, never go back.

Eric---I'm surprised to hear you are moving-----It must be difficult to leave so many mature lovely roses---Hopefully a rose-lover will buy your home---

Will you keep your forum name even though you will be in Columbus????

Will you have room for another gorgeous garden ??

Your roses are beautiful

Thanks Ingrid. I've defintely learned some lessons from this garden that I'll take to my new one.

Thank you Renee. I have heard the advice to never go back from others as well...it'll never be as good :)

Florence, I hope a rose lover will buy my house! It would be great if my garden inspired someone to be a rose lover. I'll probably change my name to something Columbus related. I will have room, about the same as I do now. I'm already plotting and planning.
