| Daisy, you asked for views of my garden, and here they are. I do think it's only fair that I ask you for the same of your beautiful garden in Crete. I hope to see some soon.

| Thank-you for posting these pictures Ingrid. Your garden looks as serene and beautiful as I remember from your previous posts. I envy you your Duchess de Brabant. It is a beautiful rose. I have cut mine back hard, as it was attacked again this year by thrips and most of the blooms looked manky again. What is the cerise pink rose in the eighth photo? I love the colour! Your limoniums go so well with the roses and so does the silver shrub against the house wall. What is it? I will have to sort out some photos to post. I have taken a few already this year. Daisy |

| Ingrid, your garden is very beautiful and inspiring. The backdrop of the hills behind everything makes it seem like a little piece of paradise. Thanks for sharing your photos with us. |

| Thank you Daisy. I rarely have thrips and it's too bad your Duchess was afflicted. The cerise rose is Austin's Sophy's Rose which starts out a bit too red for my taste but then fortunately turns more of a lilac hue. It seems to be a very good bloomer and healthy to boot. The silver shrub is two bushes of marjoram that started out as desiccated twiglets in two inch wide and deep containers at a local nursery. The bees absolutely love this herb and it blooms for a very long time. I had no idea it could be such a giant. blendguy, thank you for the high praise. We love having views of the hills and valleys, and don't mind looking at the roses either. Daisy, it's your turn now to show off your garden in glorious Crete! Ingrid |
