| The bushes are small but the flowers are still breath-taking. Sometimes it's difficult to believe they are real. Grace

| Very lovely, and Scarborough Fair is also my favorite, and not a rose that's often seen. I hope you post more pictures of it when it's grown a little and we can see its growth habit and you can tell us about how much it blooms. Ingrid |

| Thank you all so much for the compliments. Scarborough Fair is already turning out to be a wonderful rose -- very elegant, which I understand is one of the qualities that most Albas are known for and which it has in its ancestry. I wouldn't know that from my own experience yet though; it'll be a couple more years :) Anyway I ordered six of them for the front of one of my new beds since they are only supposed to grow 2.5' x 2'. I realized right away when they arrived in February that they must not be very big sellers right now as they were twice the size of the other DA bare roots I ordered, which eventually will be much larger roses. Already they have grown to the listed measurements and are putting off tons of new growth and constant sprays of buds. The only problem is trying to keep up with deadheading them: a lovely problem to have. I highly recommend this rose if, like I did, you could use some almost instant gratification and don't mind a budded rose. |
