Thanks to Olga, who enabled me into this rose. I can't stop taking pictures of it (which don't do it justice). Shown here in it's 2nd year with irises and false indigo.

Wow, Eric, your camera is going to get a workout when all those buds open! It very much reminds me of my Maggie - except for the climbing part. Can't wait to see the next batch of pics. So pretty! Great iris, too.

Very nice especially for such a young plant! I love your iris too.

Beautiful rose and Iris! But I never can tell the difference between this rose and Mme Issac Pereire.

Eric, look at all of those buds! My, what a beautiful rose. Iris are one of my other addictions. Nice combination.

A glorious rose and beautiful shots.

Fantastic combination. I think chain link fences are ugly but the roses and irises do a nice job improving the overall appearance. You've made smart choices and matched the colors perfectly.

Good job,

Thanks Patrick. I'm kinda stuck with the chain link...silver lining?...built in trellis. Hopefully it will be covered in due time. I might train some clematis over it too.

Has anyone seen this rose available and in stock now?
Where?

RE: Deuil de Dr. Reynaud

I bought mine from Rogue Valley Roses and I see they still have it available in bands. The fragrance is really wonderful and in my warm, dry garden it's been totally disease-free. The blooms tend to burn in the sun but many mauve/purple roses to that. You might also check Roses Unlimited for availability. I'm trying to grow mine as a large shrub and we'll see how that works out. It's a beautiful rose.
