I find this rose in form & fragrance as good as any gallica. I know that's rose heresy. Munstead Wood

For all it's black spot faults LaFrance probably has one of my favorite fragrances & forms.

Such a pretty modern great in early Spring & late fall naked from black spot most of the Summer.

Madame Wagram this is it's 4th year for me & it's finally producing some blooms they're short lived nice enough with a good fragrance but in the end it's really just another pink rose. If The Cranford Rose garden doesn't want it I think it will be going next Spring

SDLM is starting it's 2nd flush here it is only the beginning of June. It was an early year for the roses

The Cleamtis Blue light make for a perfect backdrop for LaFrance

Love your Munstead Wood.
Pity, about the "nekid" stems. Sometimes I think it's rather comical to see one perfect bloom at the top of a six foot bare stem.
Can we call them Long stemmed roses? :>)

Munstead Wood is to die for. Exquisite photos. I'm glad you share my love for La France, and fortunately my little plant doesn't have disease issues. I simply love its fragrance. My SdlM literally never stopped blooming since we had a mild winter. It really is one of the great roses. Thanks for the wonderful pictures.

Did you forget to name the apricot rose for us? Looks J&P-ish.
