Mrs. Anthony Waterer

I just spent the past 3 hours uploading pics onto photobucket and I'm only halfway done haha. So many pics, so little storage space, and so little time. Anyways, a few asked earlier about Mrs. Anthony Waterer, so I figured she would be a good one to start with. She's a massive rose and from a distance appears pretty "red", but up close is a more vibrant cerise mix. The rose definitely stands out and is easily 15' tall. Of course, this rose is at the Columbus Park of Roses.

Oh my, she is a big- boned lady. :D I love how the ground is covered with petals in last pics.

Who is the white rose in one of the pics?

The white rose is Madame Hardy. I already posted pics of Madame Hardy in this gallery, but I took some more and edited them, so I will probably post them all up in here too. Ultimately, they will all be going on photobucket and HMF.

Ah, by the looks Madame is rather huge as well, I hope she can be kept smaller with pruning, otherwise I will be in trouble space wise.

I always wondered what that rose looked like - I'm an admirer of the Anthony Waterer spirea - I think there are a number of plants with that name. Thanks for posting.

WOW---I love the way this rose reaches up into the tree---
