| LOL! After 7 years of owning the thing.. Ive finally figured how to take bright colored/fushcia/mauve/pinks , lighter colors were no problem, but anything with alot of color was always washed out, as if the camera couldnt focus..
I finally found a better manual mode, it takes a second to set up.. but it works!!! Im sooo sorry for posting crappy washed out pics.. This is Surpasse Toute (I guess, people with more knowledge than me are telling me it is, so Im going with it =).. as long as it doesnt rebloom and it survives the winter, Im willing to believe! group shot of heritage, I picked this up on a whim at a nusery.. its been very nice, with a very pleasing scent! | Gratz, digital cameras can be a challenge at times. :D I am still fighting with mine, should probably read a manual some day. :D |

| Nice pictures, thanks for posting. The color of Surpasse Tout is really great. I personally take pictures only on auto settings:-). The only manual option I use is zoom. If I try to fiddle around with exposure or aperture or whatever, it always comes out worse than the auto settings the camera chooses. I pay a lot of attention now to the conditions I take pictures in (i.e. light, wind, time of day etc) Masha |

| whatever it is, it's charming! |

| I use normal and macro for close-ups and that's the beginning and end of my wisdom. The time of day and weather conditions are very important, as Masha has mentioned, and another feature I use a lot is not on the camera but rather on my laptop, and that's the ability to crop pictures. So often it's only after you look at the picture on the computer that you realize how many extraneous things are present. Cropping has so often given me a better finished product. Very nice pictures, Silverkelt. What a thrill it must be to have found a better way to take pictures. Ingrid |

| Yes, yes, just beautiful, Silverkelt. That name, Surpasse Toute, is a doozy, too. Don't speak French, but I think it's cool. Re photography, my old camera crapped out. It only had a 4x zoom so I also used Auto & Macro mostly. Now I'm using DH's camera that has a 10X zoom, and I've found that zooming in rather than getting real close effects the depth of field so that the subject pops because the background is out of focus. It's quite amazing. So if you have a fairly big zoom, try it. Sherry |
