Is your unknown a HT? If so, it might be Mirandy. I'm actually growing Mirandy from a cutting as we speak. The fragrance is intensely warm and provocative in nature from the old rose variety.

for about a year we thought it was solved and that it was indeed Mirandy but for the next 2 years I watched Mirandy at The Brooklyn Botanical Gardens and the forms while sometimes very close this stays quite narrow and upright and wants to get up to over 6 feet if permitted. The Fragrance while close is much more intense in this rose.

Love your rose pictures----especially the plonk----the warm weather has shortened the bloom time on many of my roses. Can't seem to get many good pictures. I do enjoy your pictures. Florence

I really admire your photography skills. The roses just look so fresh and real to me. Interesting the Generosas. I haven't really been paying attention to any of the introductions.
