| AUTUMN ruffled her extravagant DAMASK skirts and sipped a mint julep with the other AUTUMN at SUNSET.
"I am so miffed with ABRAHAM!" she pouted. "I saw him at the DERBY!"
"Do you know he was with that rake GRAHAM, one of those awful THOMAS brothers, flirting..."
"Whom was he flirting with??? ROSE? Of that upstart de RESCHT clan?"
"Yes, indeed." said Autumn with a huff. "Well, that's really too bad. And now that little CLOTILDE, social CLIMBER that she is, is digging her little claws into your handsome German."
"WHO????!" screamed Autumn. "Not my... not my DUFTWOLKE!"
As the WIND made the little bells CHIME, the two friends had but one thought.
With the shrinking pool of eligible bachelors, each must snag that handsome new arrival from COUBERT...
