| After growing this rose.. not sure I wouldve added it.. I fell in love with pictures of it.. but the overall plant is spindly and puny and hasnt put on any sort of growth...
Belle Doria Comte De Chambord before the rain is making them all ball like crazy.. will see if the sunny temps next 3 days fixes it.. Hansa.. becuase I love the smell of it madame sancy de parabere experiment in year 3.. lost many canes, deer always seems to find this thorn free one as well.. Of course, we had pouring rains that pretty much washed away my deer preventive treatment I apply.. so it nipped at this one today.. as well as couple of others.. Prairie Joy small little thing last year starting to spread out.. More Quadra shots.. This one is slightly photo-shopped to darken, came out way to light.. not exaclty correct.. but much closer anyways... Along the arbor.. hopefully in a year or two this will be even better looking.. | Quadra doesnt have much of a fragrance, I notice a slight one in the morning, but very slight.. We dont have much of a choice in terms of repeat "climbers" and this one is as good as any for the north.. Its desease resistant to the core and has these deep red blooms at times. ITs thorny though so be prepared for battle.. |

| Wow look at those ferns! Those of us down here in Texas don't see that very often. |

| Your roses are beautiful. I especially like the pic of Mme Sancy de Parabere. Beautiful trees in the background! |

| I love that Quadra. I have one too and it's taking it's own sweet time growing to a decent size. I was pleasantly surprised at the size of a few blooms that opened last week. I will be patient with this one! Thanks for sharing. |
