Lots of Rain more rain & still more Rain Madame Hardy was a washout.
Capt Dyel one halh the bush bloomed now the other side is blooming,

Canary Island on a few blooms on this 1 year old next year it will be magnificent.

Eglantyne also put on a good show but was also drowned.

Don Poncet a Modern Generosa sent by mistake a few years ago from a Nursery I gave it to another one of the members of our Community Garden

even after the rain it makes a nice presentation.

Marie de St Jean a small white portland that blooms with a magenta tint on the edges that vanishes quickly.

The third photo is a knock-out, this one is going to be my "wallpaper". Love all your photos, as for the rain, we certainly needed it, if only to put out the forest fires.

You always have some unusual roses, which I really enjoy, and the roses through your lens look mouth-watering. Please keep posting.

Dan Poncet not Don I always get that wrong. I waited years for Marie de ST Jean ordered it twice only to be told next year & finally got one & I killed it. I got this last one through Vintage & it actually came 2 rooted cutting in 1 container so I gave 1 to Brooklyn Botanical Gardens along with Catherine Guillot & Hermosa & in turn I was offered a rooted Canary Island. I like to keep arose 4 or 5 years & then pass it on.

Joe---Your pictures are always a treat-----we are also having a lot of rain----we've been doing some ruthless pruning----bushes are out of control---
