This one was newly planted last summer. I'm very happy with Konigin von Danemark, but hope it gets a little bigger.

A couple shots of my garden. It's rained all last week and the blooms are a bit bent out of shape.

That's one of the prettiest KvD's I've ever seen even though the rose is still small. The blooms are really sumptuous. I'm sure it will get a lot bigger for you. Your garden is filled with such beautiful flowers and roses. The colors you've chosen harmonize so well with the colors of the house.

She is pretty and pink seems to be rather subtle. I also wonder what is the red rose on your arch?

Give her a couple more years and she will get BIG.. Mine is over 6' x 6'... Your yard looks so pretty!

Beautiful roses and companion flowers. I really like the cranesbill. I grow these in my garden, and love the hardiness of them.

Thanks everyone!

Twohuskies - I got the KVD after seeing a picture of yours. I can't wait until mine grows up!

The rose on the arch is Ramblin Red which I also purchased after seeing a picture of Twohuskie's. It's definitely not an antique, but it's a great, healthy rose for the north. I pegged the long canes down last winter so I wouldn't get any dieback and it worked!

both are stunningly beautiful! I like your color combos, too. That Ramblin Red is amazing!

I agree, Ramblin Red is amazing rose! Reminds me a bit of Rosarium Uetersen, just with more vivid color and winter hardness is definitely a huge bonus.

Lovely pictures, Kristin. I love the mix of pinks and blues in your KVD bed.
