Beautiful rose pictures, la brea, every one of them. I also have the Kronprinzessin, but yours is much larger. Captain Dyel is such a difficult rose to find; it looks somewhat similar to Levesen-Gower, of which I have two, but even more attractive, at least to my eyes.

I Got Sdlm Rouge last year and it's a deeper rose pink the petals are not as organized as Capt Dyel.

Love the bloom with the bee landing. It looks velvety.

Great bee pic, and very lovely roses. The colors are so rich.

Great pics, but your roses are looking a lot cooler than mine. Mine have brown edges or have just given up trying to bloom in this triple-digit heat. Exception: Our Lady of Guadalupe is getting ready to open about two dozen blooms. Go, Lady, go!

What wonderful photos. I love the colours in the background of the second photo, and how you've captured the landing bee in the first.

I inherited a mystery rose much like yours in my old garden, I finally assumed it must have been Mirandy, although at the time I thought maybe Abe Lincoln was a possibility. It too had a wonderful strong scent, and it bloomed continuously. I loved it.

Thanks for sharing!!!
