Could y'all be dears and post pics of your smelly roses? I am planning on a sitting area in my yard and would love to some nummy fragrance wafting through.

Thanks!

Beautiful rose pictures, Krista, and I certainly agree about Bishop's Castle, the only rose I have in your group. Evelyn is really gorgeous. I don't have a picture, but I really enjoy the fragrance of La France, which is available in bush form and as a climber. I have two in bush form, and I'm really fond of this rose. It seems to do quite well in my dry heat.

La France is wonderful, a great rose.

The Alnwick Rose is another good rose for a fragrant garden.

If you'd like a shorter one, Austin's Munstead Wood is my new favorite--vivid color, 3 ft tall, disease resistant, good rebloomer, and fragrant:

In a more delicate shade of light pink, the Bourbon rose Mystic Beauty (nearly identical to Souvenir de la Malmaison) grows about 4 ft tall, is fragrant, disease-resistant, and has a gorgeous bloom.

Another one of my other favorite new Austins is Lady of Shalott--apricot/gold/buff (sometimes a touch of pink) blooms, fragrant, disease-resistant, about 3.5 - 4 ft tall.

Hope that helps. Those are all some of my very best roses in my gardens.
