Happily some roses are still blooming, partially because we haven't yet experienced the worst of the summer heat. I treasure every one of them.

Your photo of "Lavender Simplicity" is simply outstanding.
Lovely to see your neighborhood too.
Now I must "google" to find what a silk tree is.

Ingrid, your pics are delightful to see, wonderful roses and the Silk Tree is very interesting.

La Marne looks lovely, I like the pink shadings with the white/ cream.

That's a wonderful pic of Bishop's Castle--and I love those horizon shots!

Ingrid, I love the photo of Mrs. Dudley Cross! The buttery yellow with pink tinges is incredible. What a lovely rose!

Thanks for the photos, it was nice to sit in your garden with you this evening. :)

Thank you all so much. It's interesting that everyone seems to have a different favorite rose. For me it's probably a tie between Le Vesuve and Mrs. Dudley Cross, but it also depends on what's looking beautiful on any particular day. I'm sure you all know the feeling!

Your colors are beautiful, Ingrid. I miss seeing tea roses, so yours are a treat for me to see.

What lovely shots of your garden and your roses! I am happy to see all my pink favorites: Le Vesuve, Souvenir d'un Ami and Bishop's Castle. The last shot capturing the row of the tea roses and the view into your surrounding landscape takes my breath away!

Thanks for taking the time to post pictures from your beautiful garden.

harborrose, I'm glad you enjoyed the tea rose shots. I don't imagine teas thrive in your area, and I feel fortunate they like it here. They do have their own special quality.

Christina, thank you for your very nice comments. I find that I enjoy my garden more each year as it grows and matures, and the landscape is a never-ending source of delight.
