Rose id please

Have tried a few forums and was advised to try this one: I purchased this climbing rose about 6 months ago at a local church fete - I garden in the Northern Rivers District of NSW, Australia, about U.S. zone 9.5. The rose has just put out it's first bloom of the season; early for here, spring starts tomorrow. It has a slight scent which I guess I'd describe as 'fruity'. I've planted it to grow up and over a Garden arch, about 3 to 4 metres (9 - 10 feet) in with a clematis 'Polish Spirit'; not to be confused, clematis leaves are in the lower part of the photo. When I bought it (from a little ole' lady, who didn't know its name) I thought it might be a Dorothy Perkins, but the bloom certainly does not resemble a D.P. I've searched my Botannicas Pocket book on roses but as yet to no avail - there are so many similar. Oh, and as this is it's first season I'm unaware as to whether it will repeat flower. The flowers, by the way are developing in clusters of about 5 to 8. I do suspect it is an old variety rather than a modern form.
Anybody got any clues as to it's id please.

RE: Rose id please

Have finally come across a rose in Botannicas Pocket Roses that very closely resembles it: 'Renae', "a modern cluster flowering, medium pink, repeat flowering, etc,."
Can any expert/knowledgeable grower confirm?

Bill

I don't think it is Renae. Do you know about Helpmefind?

There's also a Rose ID forum here.

Can you tell us how big the flower is?
Here's a link to some photos of Renae.

Funnelweb,
I live at Gulgong near Mudgee in N.S.W.
Does your young rose have thorns on it ? As Renae is a thornless rose.
I have Renae which I grew on its own roots. Maybe we can compare some photos when mine blooms, also compare leaves and other parts of it.
