| This is a group of pictures related to a thread on Enchantress in the discussion section.
This particular bloom was about 3 inches wide and was one of the few that had even partially opened. Sherry's in Florida opened are about 1 1/4 inches across. Heat really affects roses! Both of ours have about 80 petals each with the same petal configuration. Mine had 22 outside petals encasing 5 bundles of smaller petals. The outside petals were thin and silvery white infused with pink. White at the base. The petals in each of the 5 bundles were darker pink, white at the base. The petals in each bundle became successively smaller and the outer petals wrapped around the smaller. This is the bundled part after the outer silvery petals are removed. You can see the 5 bundles below. Thanks for looking - I thought this was interesting and will look more closely at how the different rose blooms I have are put together from now on. Thanks, Sherry and please post pics of yours too, if you have time. |

| What a beautiful rose, Gean. I can see why you'd want to keep it. |

| I just had to laugh, because that last picture you have, I thought I was the only one who did that!!! Very pretty rose. Not to change the subject too much, still rose-related, but do you also grow Bouquet-Parfait? |

| yes, I do grow Lens' Bouquet Parfait. There's a wonderful picture of one on the Berndoodle thread, her favorite roses. It's been great here so far. Would have been even more wonderful except some passing deer got the last crop of buds. The white/pink blooms are very pretty in their clusters. Glad someone else rips blooms apart to see what's there. Thank you, Krista. I do like it. |

| Thanks for offering, but don't go through the trouble. I looked at pictures on HelpMeFind. It had been a while since I clicked over to the gallery. I should've looked at the date of the post. |
