| I thought I already posted this, but I guess I forgot to hit "submit." : ( Here goes again. Since I'm not ordering any new roses for next spring, I'm feeling kinda blue--so decided to review the new roses I got this year--my last new batch! Berolina--bs resistant Kordes HT My garden is out of space (and I'm out of energy), so I'll just have to look forward to these roses blooming even better next year. Hope you enjoyed them. Kate |

| Beautiful roses, Kate! Did you not order something to replace Climbing Eden? There's plenty of time to order something for spring if you get to feeling too blue about it, otherwise, it's a great opportunity to pay closer attention to the roses you already have. And everything seems new in the spring anyway, don't you think? We must have such similar taste, we have so many of the same roses. I planted Easter Basket this spring, own root from Roses Unlimited. She is undoubtedly one of the most promiscuous roses in my garden. :) |

| Thanks, gnab and sidos, for the compliments. Sidos, I haven't ordered a replacement for Climbing Eden yet. I figure I have until the 1st of the year to make up my mind there--though I'm still thinking about Ghislaine (oops--I've forgotten the other part of her name--the hybrid musk) for that spot. Love your line: everything seems new in the spring anyway, don't you think? Both Pomponella and Easter Basket are favorites of mine--both planted near my back door so that I see them blooming their heads off a lot. And great bs-resistance along with their attractiveness! | Lol. I have a young Ghislaine de Féligonde. Her buds are like little sweethearts. :) I don't think you could go wrong with her. Your clematis looks great with The Wedgewood Rose, looks very healthy and vigorous. |

| Kate, you chose well. To me every single rose looks like a winner. So often, at least in my case, new roses that are bands might as well not exist the first year since I snap off what few blooms they have. I really consider the next spring to be their first year. Ingrid |
