| I love the fog! That last photo (There's Still Some Color) is a masterpiece. It reminds me of something an old master would have done. Seriously, if I could paint, I would paint it. By the way, in that last photo, what is that one deep pink rose to the left? |

| Thank you all so much for your flattering comments. I'm so glad you like the pictures. bellegallica, you rose you're inquiring about is Charmian, one the earlier Austin roses. The fragrance is magnificant and when several flowers are open it's quite a presence in the garden. I got mine from Vintage; don't know whether it's still on offer there. Ingrid |

| Even from a distance, just from the shape of it, I thought it might be an Austin, but wasn't sure. Charmian...what a romantic name. Cleopatra's servant who committed suicide with her rather than be captured by the Romans. She seems a perfect fit for the mysterious, ancient atmosphere you've captured in that photo. |
