Luscious! Love the colors on Elie Bauvilain. Is Little Mermaid as ferocious as her big sister? I always loved Mermaid but finally gave up & cut it down;

Just discovered this today! Beautiful roses. I'm amazed that R. palustris plena is blooming. Is is different in that way from the spring bloomer R. palustris? I've always thought it was such a graceful rose. They're all lovely, although I'm not so sure that Cecile Brunner is really "improved". Thank you for your continued efforts to show us the roses from the Heritage garden. I can't tell you how much I appreciate your efforts. Ingrid

Thank you, Sylvia and Ingrid. Sylvia, Little Mermaid is certainly prickled, but much smaller than her big sister:-). Ingrid, rosa palustris plena had quite a decent flush when I saw it this past weekend. I don't remember any blooms over the summer though... I might have missed one or two, who knows Masha

Masha, they're ALL beautiful, but my faves are Mel's Heritage and Elie Beauvilain. Yummy. Sherry
