11/28/10 Bouquet

At least I think that's what you call them - don't know why.

Moving left from Polonaise, the red rose is Gruss an Aachen, E Veyrat Hermanos, Gen Schablikine, Souv de la Malmaison, E Veyrat Hermanos, Maman Cochet, E Veyrat Hermanos, Maman Cochet, and Souv de la Malmaison in the center.

Love your E. Veyrat Hermanos. You meant the white is Gruss an Aachen right? Lovely bouquet!

Oh, Masha, I should have put a comma after "red rose". The red rose is Polonaise. GaA isn't usually that white. EVH looks different every time I see a flower. Interesting rose.

As to combinations, just what I cut, no plan.

That's what I would call a truly sumptuous bouquet. I wouldn't have guessed that the middle rose is SdlM. It may just be the lighting but mine has more pink in it. Nevertheless, yours is beautiful and the rose that caught my eye the most. Thanks for the wonderful eye candy.

Ingrid, that center SDLM is well past its prime and at that point mine are usually cream. The one above it is at mid-prime and shows a little pink.

Oh, how beautiful! I like the look of so many fluffy petals.

Heehee, Sherry. I don't know what a plonk is, but I do enjoy your photo.

They look like a soft bed of down blankets, especially the SDLM bloom.
