Will Vintage do Open Gardens This Year?

Does anyone *in the know* know if Vintage is thinking about holding their gardens open this year? Sort of like a last hurrah?

I'm not sure if Greg feels they can get the gardens presentable, or if he is even interested in having people traipse through the yard.

But I'll tell ya, I'd pay a small admission fee to get there one last time before it's gone and there may be lots of Bay Area rose regulars willing to do the same.

Then again, maybe since it's been such a rough couple of years, the gardens don't look like they used to. I don't know... but I'm going to miss them when they are gone.

Just wondering... I know it's still a few months off.
Thanks,
-k

No idea. My best advice would be to check the Vintage Gardens web site from March on and see.

I talked to Gregg last night. There will be at least one open garden day in May.
Why not come earlier for a Dirt Day? You can be part of restoring the garden to its glorious self and enjoy a legendary potluck. The next two scheduled are Feb. 11th and 25th. I'll be there on the 25th. There will be more opportunities as the season progresses.

Weather permitting, I plan to be there both days. We always have a good time, and new people are very welcome. You can be sure that the food will be great.

I have it on my calendar for the 25th of Feb.
