This morning, I was searching through my wedding files looking for images to have printed. It has truly been a lazy morning because I have been seated at my desk for far too long when there is so much to do outside. Well, looking at the images, revealed that I had forgotten how magical the setting for my wedding/ Linda's garden is. I wed at Hastings House, Half Moon Bay California. The private home and garden has been the site for numerous weddings and it by far is the most magical garden I have meandered through. I continue to be in awe of Linda's ( the owner) creativity and talent. Do you have images of magical gardens to share? Maybe it is your own garden, or a special place in your garden? | It does look lovely. We go to Half Moon Bay all the time as a getaway. I'd love to go see the garden. I suppose one could then stay at the Ritz for a honeymoon. How wonderful that you got married there(at Hastings house). Magical gardens? How about Mottisfont? |

| It really is beautiful, and I'm sure even more so in person when you can take in the whole view. Best of all, I wouldn't have to pull a single weed or water a single bush. Ingrid |

| I'd love to visit it someday. I had no idea it was there. Until very recently I had a close friend who lived in Half Moon Bay. She just moved to Portland, but I still go there for the excellent nursery and the best knitting shop I've ever found. HMB is one of those rare towns that has a walkable downtown filled with unique, interesting shops. Rosefolly |

| Mendocino_rose Mottisfont appears to be a grand estate with a beautiful garden. I am overdue for another trip to England and will possibly place it on my "to do/visit" list. Thank you for the image. Ingrid, no kidding, I am sure she waters less frequently, than we do, if she waters at all. She has a modest size home on a California beach front property. I was just amazed at what she was able to do and create within the confines of her space, which by my estimation did not seem to be acreages of land. Like many gardeners it seemed to be a labor of love for her. |
