Can anyone recommend a rose that reblooms as much as Valentine, but that's a bluer shade of red? I was looking at Reine des Violettes but I'm seeing in other posts that it isn't a reliable rebloomer? At least not compared to Valentine. Thank you for your expertise!

The Dark Lady comes to mind, also Sophy's Rose, which has a more unusual shape that I really like. Ingrid

I second The Dark Lady, but Rouge Royale does better in my garden that TDL, RR smells divine too!

Nearly black. A dreaded hybrid tea, but it has a full bush. Not an erect soldier and blooms constantly in the Dfw area.

I love my two Ascot roses, grandifloras from Tantau. They grow fast and do a lot of blooming here in my garden. But Ascot is a big rose. It has luscious, old fashioned look, winy red blooms. Diane

How about Francis Dubreuil (aka Barcelona)? Available from the Antique Rose Emporium. She's been a good rebloomer for me and remains small to medium in size like Valentine. Carol
