Very pretty Daisy, mine planted as bareroot a few months ago shows signs of mildew which I expect to get worse since we are only at the start of the mildew season.

Those leaves are indeed exquisite, but I had to look twice to see them because the rose itself is so gorgeous and eye catching. Altogether an enchanting photo, and the perfect antidote for the -7 degree F we're expecting here (i think that's -20 C). Brr.

Yes I've also thought LEH had the most gorgeous new foliage, the purples, and burgundy shades making such a dramatic foil for the apricot flowers.

She certainly is beautiful. Mine is two years old, root owned, and still is only two feet high. I was really counting on her being four feet. She's a slow grower for me, but I too love the color of her leaves and beautiful blooms.

Just Joey produces a similar effect, with it's purple-bronze new growth. I'm not always enamored with orange-toned roses, but the contrast between the flower and the new growth is awfully attractive. LEH is already on my list for this Spring- thanks for the enablement : )
