Spring is here

The weather just flipped. Spring happened this weekend. We're looking at temps in the 60s and 70s for the extended forecast. The air is finally dry and the sun is quite warm.

I need a chainsaw in the worst way. There is so much dead stuff to clear to make way for roses, I'm not going to be able to get through it all in time.

Hopefully this warmth will push its way north and not just hang out here. I also hope that, since my rainy weather is moving out, it will move elsewhere and others can have some water, and not the ice kind.

Evenie,

You aren't so far from me, and I am envious of your spring! Perhaps this means ours is only a few weeks away. For now, we are continually digging ourselves out of snow flurries. Our weather will be warm for a few days, then plummet and snow, then warm back up, and then plummet and snow. It makes me wanna bang my head against the wall.

Congrats on making it through the winter!

Josh

We will hit the low to mid 70's Thursday. We have been in the 60's for several days now. It was overcast for a couple of days, which is not common, and there was moisture in the air, but no rain:( ; it just felt cold.

Today, the sky is its normal clear blue, some of the bare roots are leafing out already, and I too am beginning to feel Spring approaching!!!

Daffodils are blooming here, as is one of my pear trees. I wish the sun would come out though. Hopefully that will come later this week!

Josh,

Summer will always come for us. Sometimes sooner, mostly sooner.

You all give me hope that someday spring will come back to Michigan!

A little different story here in z4. My lawn is covered with 2-4 ft of snow & the temp was "minus" 20F last night.
