Especially rare scented tropicals. Also, Like Noisettes, everblooming, scented.

I live in Levittown, Puerto Rico, and I grow rare tropicals, many scented; and I would like to TRADE!

I hate to brag, but I have an amazing garden here. Please look at my couple of links, and you let me know what you are interested in.

I also find stuff way out in the rainforest, and I hike a lot deep into the rainforest.

Not to be a wet blanket, but before exchanging cuttings with anyone outside the continental U.S., you might want to check on what quarantines are in place (if any).

I know I would not to this, because we ARE under a couple of quarantines. But even if I weren't -- that's how we GET these unwanted insect pests.

My state is pretty rigorous about plants being properly certified...and they are not amused by anyone trying to "skirt" their regulations. I wouldn't want to stir that bee hive.

No Ma'am. Giving cuttings to a neighbor is one thing . . . In fact, if you are caught, you can be in for some whacking monetary penalties.

Puerto Rico is part of the United States.

Not part of the "continental" U.S. which the above post mentioned.

But movement of plant material to the mainland is still restricted. At minimum, inspection is required, which sounds like a good idea to me. From p. 3-9 of the document (a manual for the inspectors) linked below:

"Plants, as well as growing media, are restricted from Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands to prevent the spread of soil organisms, pink bollworm (Pectinophora gossypiella), sugarcane diseases (Xanthomonas albilinenans and X. vasculorum), cactus borer (Cactoblastis cactorum), the sweet potato scarabee (Euscepes postfaciatus). Movement is restricted to the United States and its other territories, but is not restricted in either direction between Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands."

Hawaii is out of CONUS also. It doesn't matter if it is a state.
Vice versa, dogs & cats are also quarantined in Hawaii when military personnel are sent to be stationed.

Frank, I looked at your photos and they're really lovely. I'm sorry some sort of exchange apparently isn't possible. I hope you weren't annoyed by the tone of the responses. Best wishes and happy gardening!

Frank, I got your email, but living in CA and knowing of the issues with pests and diseases in transferring plant materials out of state, I would not be interested.

Rogue Valley Roses ships their plants internationally as does Antique Rose Emporium (In fact, Puerto Rico is listed in their shipping zone list).
They both have a great selection of old roses. Perhaps you could use this forum to search and find out what people in Florida have good luck with (chinas? Teas? ... I think I've seen Sombrieul does well down there....etc.) and order it from these vendors.
