Added today to the Gold Coast HRG Facebook Page, and also to be found on the Gold Coast HRG website (link below) -- a look at some details of the Northern CA Found Rose, "Pulich Children." Interesting to explore -- take a look! I have it on good authority that there will be at least 2 plants of "Pulich Children" (NOT in commerce) at the Sacramento City Cemetery Open Garden, April 20, 2013. :-) Jeri

You're killing me Jeri!! I was just planning a trip to the open and my son reminded me it is his new wife's birthday that weekend. Sure hope she thinks a trip to Sacramento would be a fabulous birthday trip.

RE: Pulich Children. Any notions of its disease resistance?

Jeri Decadent rose! The color is like plum intoxication. If old rose aroma appeared in the color spectrum, that would be it. Did I read that it's a hybrid perpetual? I think I missed the story and can't seem to locate it on the Heritage Roses site or this forum. Would it be too much to ask for a retold tale? Carol

I love roses that have a sentimental meaning like this one. We went up to look at the grave site and the rose last summer.

The color of this rose is amazing, and the story very touching. A rose brought this family together with a missing part of their past and enriched their lives for it. Ingrid

Rose Petals Nursery lists this rose in their inventory, but it is not currently available. Perhaps they are growing a plant but it hasn't yet reached "mother plant" size for propagation. At least it will (hopefully) be available more readily in the future. :-) ~Christopher
