Is anyone growing this small Hybrid Musk, (or large pohttp://www.helpmefind.com/rose/l.php?l=2.19657lyantha). It is said to be repeat blooming and very fragrant. I notice that it seems to be growing in more than one One 5 garden?

RE: Daphne?

I grow Daphne and really like it. It's a 4 X 4 shrub here, hardy.

It repeats, although I wouldn't describe it as having a very rapid repeat bloom.

It is fragrant, to my nose moderate in intensity and it has a kind of tangy, pineapple scent. To my nose it does not have a wafting, sweet scent.

I posted some pics on the Gallery last summer:

Here is a link that might be useful: Daphne

Your pictures are lovely, Krista.

Does it make a nicely shaped bush, and how attractive is the foliage? What I can see in your pix loks quite nice.

RE: Daphne?

Thank you, Nastarana.

The sprawling habit is similar to Bubble Bath, and Daphne fits well in a cottage garden look.

It is a nice rounded shrub, wanting to grow wider than tall. If it's pruned too hard it might not look its best.

Felicia has a more restrained growth habit.

Daphne gets blackspot and will drop many of its leaves in late summer. This does not diminish its vigor, however.
