Mine would have 3-4 really nice flushes. I was lax in pruning it, but this year it has a lot of dieback, so I will have to prune it a lot this spring. I had mine as sort of a free formed fountain shape.

The first year I planted Tea Clipper I didn't get one bud. I was hugely disappointed, as I saw this plant at Roses Unlimited in full bloom in their garden and was in love. It's second year I payed close attention to it. I made sure I fertilized regularly and used Mills Magic rose mix and it bloomed some beautiful flushes. Is it my best rebloomer? Absolutely not, but by far its worth the garden space in my book. Looking back, I think its first year it was just concentrating on getting established and growing. During my second year it was between 5 and 6 feet high and a good four feet wide. The picture below is the first flush of the season in early spring. Wish I had taken a later flush picture as it was even more stunning when it was over five feet tall.

After three years of babying my tea clipper and only getting 3 yes that is correct, 3 blossoms I shoveled it and replaced it with lady of shallot. I will say that mine was own root and it would send up these blind shoots 5-6 foot tall that didn't even have eye buds on them, very strange rose in my opinion and not worth it despite how pretty those 3 blooms were!
