I am looking for the noisette La Nymphe. Does anyone know where it might be purchased? Thank you...

alameda,
I noticed that there is a gardener in Vernon, Texas that lists it in her garden ... would you feel comfortable in approaching her through hmf and asking for cuttings?

I noticed she visited hmf recently and from her bio on hmf, I bet she would love to share it.

I've never asked anyone for cuttings....I am not experienced with propogating roses so wouldnt want to kill something. I have plenty of roses....but was thumbing thru the Noisette book about the Savannah/Charleston roses and thought it looked pretty. I have such an extensive order from Vintage - and hope I get them all - that I am going to be tending a pot ghetto for the next decade. Would love to run across this one though.......

Perhaps another time you might want to propagate something. It's not hard at all; if I can do it, anyone can. If you try to propagate sometime from what you prune off, you don't have to feel bad if they don't take, since it's going into the compost or trash anyway!

Anyway, I hope you find it. I love those found noisettes and hate to think they are being lost.

I like that noisette book, too!

I just noticed today that La Nymphe is listed as available on Vintage Gardens' website.
