I just got back from Chamblees rose nursery in Tyler and after much thought and advice from the knowledgable staff I chose the climbing pinkie and a climbing pink Don Juan. The pinkie is supposed to have continued repeat blooming from spring to frost. Good luck with your search!

Hello petal dreamer (what a cute name). Just off the top of my head I'm thinking Cl. Pinkie, Peggy Martin, Cl. Iceberg, Maman Cochet, White Maman Cochet, Cornelia, Blush Noisette and Sombreuil (thorny but good in the heat). I'm sure others will think of many more.

I also acquired a cutting of Peggy Martin from a friend but from what I understand she blooms once in the spring and then again in the fall due to our Texas heat. I think in a milder climate she might bloom more. I noticed Chamblees had several Peggy martins too.

Thank you all for your suggestions! I made it out to Chamblees and came back with Climbing Pinkie, and *ahem* several others. Buying roses for other members of your family truly helps with the 'justification' of buying more roses than you really need. hehe Tomorrow is planting day! :)
