Is Opal Brunner thornless?

Yesterday I was untangling a Cl American Beauty rose from the Opal Brunner growing next to it. The Cl American Beauty has tons of small prickles, and long grabby arms which were all trying to go home with me.

I finally realized that the Opal Brunner was not sticking to me. I got 2 of them from Vintage Gardens - they are pretty mature now - it was 7-8 years ago. I just went out and looked at them both, and I could not find a trace of a thorn on either of them, except those prickles on the back of the leaves.

So, I was wondering - does anyone know if this rose is thornless? People are always asking about thornless roses, and this climbing polyantha is so pretty, I thought that would be good to know.
