I have that Salvia, it's great. Mine blooms for months and the plants are a decade old at least, and it should do even better for you in zone 8.

I got 'Twilight Zone' and the buds are showing color. That's it.

I got Gold Medal the other day. Look at me! I'm totally going modern. HMF says its very disease resistant. Hopefully, that includes BS. If not, I'll just encourage the nearby light purple clematis to swing over his way. Getting excited since two buds are showing yellow. I'm putting him next to Alex Hill Gray, and Graham Thomas and two yellow dahlias are coincidentally nearby. Well, not totally modern, but I am diversifying.

I just received Souvenir de St. Anne's from Vintage. I ordered it to go along with the two French two roses that were supposed to be ready this spring, but they won't be ready until fall. The two I ordered actually died so I'll have to pick some new ones when Vintage sends an availability list.
