| When 1 is not enough.... Obelisks are a work of art. I love the shorter stature I received 2 bands from Rogue Valley Roses this Friday 1. Deuil de Dr. Reynaud I think I'm a budding collector. I am enamored with the French names. Deuil de Dr. Reynaud is the rose band that will train under my 2nd obelisk. It's warm in Texas this week. I don't babysit the bands. Right in the sunny ground they go. |

| I love oblisks! I've had one for three years and can't get a rose to climb it! I had Souvenir du Dr. Jamain in it for 2 years and he never grew (he's back in a pot regaining his strength), and last year I put Jeanne Lajoie in it...she shot a a few nice basels...then came winter and the rabbits! So now, we wait......and hopefully she grows well this year! Tammy |
