I like this one too. I got the E. Pink Lemonade last year and it was wonderful!

I have had a fondness for these roses since Harkness created Euphrates but these later hybrids appear to have outstanding disease resistance along with the beautiful and innovative flower (heps, sadly missing) - really remarkable - totally healthy in my tiny garden where every other rose is guaranteed to show at least a smattering of BS or mildew (and even rust, some years). If this health continues down later breeding lines, I think these roses will reach beyond the novelty market and have a definite role to play in hybridising. Kudos to Jim Sproul and Chris Warner.

That is just lovely, Camp.

This is the first bloom to open on one of the new plants. Yes, it was taken at night.;) Yesterday morning I checked on it and the biggest bud wasn't open yet. Left shortly after for a 4 1/2 hour drive to the open house of a native plant nursery, shopped and shopped (got a van load of newcomers....), feasted on tri tip barbecue, and drove home 200+ miles to arrive in the evening. So what did I do after a whole day looking at plants? Why go out in the garden IN THE DARK to see if that bud had opened. It had. Of course I couldn't wait till daylight to take a picture, just got the flashlight and snapped away.lol
