One of my favorites also on any given day. Beautiful pictures.

That Edwardian pink/peach/yellow color always makes me weak in the knees.

Susan, How old is your Reve D'Or? I've never seen a Reve D'Or in bloom, much less bigger than 1 foot here in Texas. Is it a slow starter? Beautiful bloom!! Josh

Just beautiful, Susan!

We are very fortunate here in CA. The Sacramento Cemetery has an exceptional clone of Reve d'Or that wants to grow grow grow. My 2 year old plant is happily climbing a wall. The drought hasn't phased it too much. Pictures once it starts blooming. Diane

Susan, beautiful rose! Beautiful photos! I find noisettes to be even more romantic than teas and by now, everyone knows how much I adore tea roses. Reve d'Or is a favorite of mine. If you own a straw hat, you should pick a blossom of Reve, tuck it into the chintz band, don your favorite dress, recline on a wicker settee and sip sweet tea while reading EM Forster or Charlotte Bronte. Diane, I am looking forward to your photo. Your specimen sounds stunningly gorgeous! Carol

Susan, it's wonderful to see pictures of one of my favorite roses. I hope you'll take further pictures as it creates more blooms. Diane, I'd be interested to know how much sun your Reve d'Or gets on the wall. You probably also have a lot less heat, but mine on a wall died back more every year, to my everlasting regret. I love that rose but have practically no place for a climbing rose.

Thanks y'all! I just received two grafted on fort. As a fundraiser our rose society travels down to pick up 2G roses from K & M. In addition to Reve I bought 2 Celine, Madame Antoine Mari, Monsieur Tillier, Dubreuil/Barcelona (my second), Gold Medal and Blue Girl. That is why I have the blooms now. I have a trellis "wall" that is 30' X 15'. I have one MAC for the center and Reve d'Or flanking each end. On either side in between MAC and Reve I am growing a Duchess of Albany Clematis. Josh, ARE reports Reve d'Or as getting really large. And Carol, as a rose gardener you KNOW that there is no reclining in the garden (at least until August)! Although I have vowed this year to relax more and work less. I've been working like a demon for the last 2 weeks. I will send photos as she grows. Susan
