Crown Princess Margareta Sitting On A Wall.

No va va voom. Just the simple tracery of a rescued single-cane rose.

What a romantic vignette.

Wait a cotton-pickin' minute! What are those dangling legs doing in my otherwise lovely picture?

RE: The Little Rose That Could

Those legs belong to eggs. Humpty Dumpty is alive and well and even has a son.

Romantic and whimsical. Humpty Dumpty House, I presume? :-) You've trained the Crown Princess beautifully! Carol

Thanks for the kind words, everyone.

Carol, yes the rose is a rescued throwaway planted at Humpty Dumpty House Foundation. Not expecting much from it, I planted it in a terrible spot under a huge Mimosa tree, where it's showered with tons of sticky pink blooms constantly. Little did I know this rose would win my heart; its color and form are astonishing.
